The Global Pioneer Scholarship

We are pleased to present the Global Pioneer Scholarship* to alumni of the American College of Greece (Deree or Pierce Lyceum) and previous study abroad participants who complete their applications and are accepted into the graduate program of their choice by August 18, 2025.*

*1.) This special one-time scholarship is effective for the duration of study in one’s graduate program. 2) the Global Pioneer Scholarship can be combined with either the EU resident tuition grant or the merit scholarship, but not both. See the combination rules below. 3) This scholarship is applicable to any of the AUGGC graduate programs.

Important note about combining awards:

  • The EU Resident Tuition Grant and Merit Scholarships cannot be combined. You will automatically receive the higher of the two.

  • Other discounts — such as the Alumni Discount, Study Abroad Ambassador Discount, and Award of Excellence — can be combined with either the EU Resident Grant or the Merit Scholarship.

 

Our admissions team will automatically apply the combination that provides the greatest tuition reduction.

Scholarship and Discount Opportunities

For students residing in the European Union.
EU residents automatically receive a 25% tuition reduction across the programs listed below. This grant can be combined with the Alumni and Study Abroad Ambassador Discounts

While credits are listed in USD, students may pay in their local currency at the prevailing exchange rate through standard credit card payments.

 

Recognizing academic achievement.
Merit scholarships reward students with strong academic records at both undergraduate and graduate levels. GPA is based on U.S. equivalency (international transcripts will be converted during admissions review).

Undergraduate Students:

Graduate Students in the Global MBA and MS In Cybersecurity:

Note: If you qualify for both Merit and the EU Grant, you will receive the higher of the two.

Graduate Students in the MS In Data Science and the MA in Learning Design and Technology:

For students who demonstrate exceptional achievement beyond academics.
This discretionary award is granted to students with noteworthy accomplishments in leadership, athletics, community service, or professional work.

  • 5% additional tuition discount
  • Can be combined with either the EU Resident Tuition Grant or Merit Scholarship.

Decisions are made by the admissions team based on your application materials.

For graduates of Pierce Lyceum and The American College of Greece (Deree).
Alumni receive a 15% tuition discount — and this discount can be combined with either the EU Resident Grant or Merit Scholarship for all degrees with the exception of the MS in Data Science and the MA in Learning Design and Technology.

If you are a Study Abroad alumni you will receive a 10% tuition discount for all degrees with the exception of the  MS in Data Science and the MA in Learning Design and Technology.

One person cannot combine the two. The higher percentage of scholarship will prevail.

For participants of qualifying study abroad programs.
If you’ve participated in a study abroad experience, you’re eligible for a 10% tuition discount with the exception of  the MS in Data Science and the MA in Learning Design and Technology. The alumni ambassador and study abroad ambassador cannot be combined. The higher percentage will prevail. 

There’s no separate application process — we make it easy!

  1. Apply for admission to AUG Global Campus. Submit your application and academic records.
  2. We’ll assess your eligibility automatically. Scholarships and discounts are determined during application review.
  3. If needed, provide supporting documents. For the Award of Excellence, you may be asked for additional details about your achievements.
  4. Receive your scholarship decision with your admission offer. Your tuition reduction will be applied immediately.

We will always apply the combination that maximizes your savings. The Merit awards for the MS in Data Science and the MA in Learning Design and Technology are not included in the Alumni Ambassador or the Study Abroad Ambassador scholarships.
